The Fellowship aims to encourage research on core problems in a variety of socio-economic areas using big data analytics. The Civic Innovation Fellows will use data from PITB to research, design and execute community interventions and innovative solutions to combat local problems. They will be aided in this process by ITU faculty and field experts who will mentor them throughout the course of this Fellowship. The outcomes produced by the Fellows (research papers, policy briefs, website and mobile applications or startups) will serve to guide the local government on implementing feasible solutions to cater to socio-economic problems faced by our community.

We are now in the process of shortlisting applications for the final round of the Fellowship, where selected candidates will present their research ideas in front of a panel of judges. Following this, six candidates will be selected to become the Civic Innovation Fellows!
